Th applicant seeks extension of time to deposit amount of Rs.5 lakh. Vide order dated 1st February 2019 the applicant was permitted to deposit Rs.5 lakh. The said order was passed in ABA No.703 of 2018. Learned counsel for applicant submits that initially cheque of Rs.5 lakh was issued by the applicant towards said deposit, which was dishonoured. However, thereafter the applicant has arranged the funds and issued demand draft. It is submitted that the applicant had arranged demand draft of Rs.5 lakh dated 5th March 2019. The present application is pending before this Court and for want of extension of time, the earlier demand draft could not be deposited. It is submitted that the applicant has renewed a fresh demand draft and the applicant is willing to deposit the said demand draft in compliance with the order of this Court.

In the circumstances, the applicant is permitted to deposit the demand draft of Rs.5 lakh within one week from the date of uploading the order. The application is disposed of. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
