The learned Advocate General Dr. Saraf has placed on record the copies of the order dated 10th February, 2023 thereby granting sanction to prosecute the accused persons who were public servant under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. In addition, he has made a statement that a retired IAS Officer who is also an accused, the proposal has to be approved by the Union Public Service Commission and as such, the proposal shall be forwarded to the Union Public Service Commission, in any case, by 28th February, 2023. 2.

The aforesaid statement since made by learned Advocate General on instructions from the Secretary of the Department, same is accepted.

In view of above, nothing survives in the petition, the petition accordingly stands disposed of.
