The Respondents had filed a criminal complaint against two accused - applicants for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 325, 504 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code bearing C.R. No.13 of 2012 on 22nd January, 2012. The charges were framed against the two accused and they were convicted and sentenced. However, they have later compromised and resolved the dispute between them amicably and the accused having reaslised mistake, the complainants have pardoned the accused. They have therefore sought to compound the offence, the same being compoundable. The complainants have filed an affidavit dated 17th June, 2017. It is seen that the affidavit is now interpreted in Marathi to deponent no.2, who has signed in vernacular. The

In view of the aforesaid settlement and in the interest of justice the above application is disposed of in terms of the consent terms. Accordingly, I pass the following order :
(i) The Revision application is allowed in terms of the consent terms. (ii) The offences having been compounded, the applicants are acquitted subject to observing the terms of the consent terms.
(iii) If the applicants are in custody, the applicants be released on bail subject to their observing the terms of the consent terms. (iv) The impugned orders dated 4th April, 2016 and 20th March, 2017 are quashed and set aside.
(v) The Registry to intimate the concerned Court. (vi) No costs.
