The learned APP has placed on record a report dated 13th February 2020 in the case which shows that as of that day 5 witnesses were examined and the next scheduled date is 13th February 2020. 2.

In view of the fact that the trial has commenced and 5 witnesses are examined, the application stands disposed of. However, taking into consideration the fact that the offence was registered in 2015 and was also committed to the Court of Sessions in 2015, it is expected that the trial is expedited. The learned Sessions Court shall in any case conclude the trial by 30th July 2022.
