This is an Application for condonation of delay of 429 days in preferring substantive Appeal against conviction. Mr. Singh, learned Advocate appointed to represent Applicant/ Appellant submitted that, since the date of his arrest in the year 2013, Applicant is behind bars. That, after pronouncement of the impugned Judgment and Order, for want of financial aid and legal assistance, the Applicant could not prefer Appeal immediately before this Court within a period of limitation. He submitted that, the Applicant thereafter sent a letter to the Legal Aid Committee, High Court Mumbai through Jail, who inter-alia appointed him by its appointment Order dated 8th October, 2018. 1/2
