By this application, the applicant seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with C.R.No.16 of 2017 registered with the Karkamb Police Station, Solapur for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 498A, 306, 323, 504, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Perused the papers. The incident in question has taken place on 10th January, 2017. Sonali committed suicide in her matrimonial home. According to the complainant - Surekha Daulat Jagtap, who is the mother of the deceased - Sonali, all the accused i.e. her daughter's husband Hari Chandrakant Rodge and her in-laws were demanding a sum of Rs.50,000/- from Sonali and on account of non-fulfillment of the said amount, her daughter - Sonali was being harassed and ill-treated by the accused. It appears that Sonali committed suicide on account of the same by hanging herself in her matrimonial home. Admittedly, the applicant and her husband were residing separately about 200 metres away from where their son - Hari and deceased - Sonali were residing. Admittedly, the applicant was not present at the time when the alleged incident took place. Coaccused - Hari i.e. Sonali's husband and father-in-law were arrested and have been subsequently released on bail. The allegations are general allegations against all the accused.
