Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned APP for the State.

The petition is filed seeking direction to respondents to register FIR on the basis of petitioners' complaint dated 25th July, 2013, a copy of which is annexed at "Exhibit E". When the matter was called out today, Mr. Saste, learned APP submitted that the officer concerned is not present. We find that the said complaint is filed by the petitioners as long back as on 25th July, 2013. Learned APP is also unable to give progress report of the said complaint. In the circumstances, we pass the following order :

"The Officer In-charge of Dehu Police Station, Pune, shall hold preliminary inquiry in respect of the petitioners' complaint dated 25th July, 2013, if not already made and take appropriate decision within a period of seven days Shubhada S Kadam 1/2

Sr.No.16 WP 1342.15 from the date of receipt of this order and thereafter communicate the outcome of the same to the petitioners."

In the light of the above order, the writ petition stands disposed of.
