Having heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned AGP for the State, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No.3 to decide the proposal of respondent No.4 dated 4th December, 2013 for grant of approval to the appointment of the petitioners as Assistant Teachers, a copy of which is annexed at "Exhibit Q", as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter and all rights and contentions of the respective parties are kept expressly open.
