The applicant is seeking extension for furnishing surety and continuation of relief granting permission to furnish cash bail. 3.

By order dated 21st January 2022 passed by this Court in Interim Application No.725 of 2021 the sentence of imprisonment imposed by Trial Court while convicting applicant was suspended and applicant was directed to be released on bail. He was permitted to furnish cash bail of Rs.25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of sureties.

It is submitted that applicant could not furnish sureties within stipulated time on account of several reasons and hence extension of

2 of 2 15.IA.1135.2022.doc four weeks time be granted to furnish sureties. Time to furnish sureties had expired on 21st March 2022.

Considering the circumstances, the facility of cash bail granted by this Court by order dated 21st January 2022 is extended by a further period of four weeks from today to enable the applicant to furnish sureties. Interim Application stands disposed of. (PRAKASH D. NAIK, J.) MST
