1. The State (Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone-1) Mira Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate, District Thane, has filed the present application seeking time of six weeks to complete the process of extradition of the Respondent No.2 in the present Appeal. The Applicant has made correspondence with the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi for seeking permission. The proposal / communication is made to the Joint Secretary (IS-II) Ministry of Home Affairs on 31.03.2022. The communication dated 31.03.2022 is taken on record and marked as Article-'X' for the purpose of identification. The same is received by the Ministry on 01.04.2022.

2. Taking into consideration the detailed reasons assigned in the application for seeking time, we feel it appropriate to grant six weeks time to complete the process of extradition of Respondent No.2.

3. Hence the Application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
