Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing the Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samittee, Islampur [for short "BDO"] to decide the Petitioner's applications for condonation of delay and seeking stay to the recovery of arrears of property tax raised by grampanchayat Peth, taluka Walwa [copies of which are annexed at page Nos.46 and 49 of this petition] as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and the BDO shall decide the said applications patilsr 1 / 2

independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open. 3.

In order to enable the BDO to comply with this order, the Petitioner shall attend the office of said BDO along with copies of the said applications and copy of this order on 4th April 2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
