Mr. Shaikh, learned APP for the State, makes a statement that in pursuance of the petitioner's complaint, FIR bearing CR No.289 of 2017 is registered by Malad Police Station on 30th July, 2017 and, after completion of the investigation, charge-sheet in the subject FIR is filed on 24th August, 2018 in the Court of the concerned magistrate which is numbered as Criminal Case No.2394/PW/2018. The statement is accepted.

In the light of the above statement, the learned counsel for the petitioner fairly concedes that the grievance raised in the petition, no more survives. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
