Learned APP, upon instructions, submits that in the present case, the trial has commenced and the next date before the trial Court is 27/10/2015. Learned APP further submits that there are 39 MCOC cases pending before the Special MCOC Court No. 1 and therefore, there is delay in framing of the charges. It is also submitted that the trial is proceeding through video conferencing. The applicant happens to be an accused in 7 similar cases. The Special Court, in view of the fact that the applicant is in jail for more than 16 months, is requested to make an endeavour to frame charges against the accused/applicant as expeditiously as possible. The application stands disposed of in above directions. Office to communicate the order to the applicant who is lodged in Arthur Road Jail.
