By this interim application, the applicant seeks extension of the temporary bail granted to him by this Court vide order dated 18th December 2023, for a further period of eight months, considering the medical condition of the applicant.

Perused the application. The applicant had earlier preferred an application, being Interim Application No.4561 of 2023 in the aforesaid appeal and sought temporary bail on medical ground, 1/3
considering that the applicant was suffering from heart ailment and was required to undergo Angioplasty. This Court (Coram: Prakash D. Naik & N.R.Borkar, JJ.) vide order dated 18th December 2023 allowed the said application and released the applicant on temporary bail for a period of three months from the date of his release, on certain terms and conditions stipulated therein. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant has filed the aforesaid application seeking extension of the said period of three months period, which has come to an end. He submits that the applicant was in the hospital till yesterday, considering that his heart is only working 20%. Learned counsel relied on the certificate dated 4th February 2024, issued by the Cardiologist of Dr. Godbole's Heart Care Centre Private Limited. It appears from the said certificate, that the applicant was admitted to the said hospital on 2nd April 2024 after his Angioplasty with complaints of severe breathlessness, Epigastric pain, Nausea and Uneasiness. It is further stated in the said certificate that the patient is a known case of Ischemic Cardiomyopathy with history 2/3
of Angioplasty (PTCA to Lad Stent done on 10th January 2024) with poor left Ventricular Ejection Fraction of 20%. It is stated that the patient was admitted in ICU and stabilised with Diuretics and Anti Heart Failure Medicines. It is further stated that the patient has been discharged on 4th April 2024 and has been advised bed rest. 4.
Considering the medical condition of the applicant, we extend the period of the temporary bail, by a period of six months from 24th March 2024. On expiry of the said period, the applicant to surrender, before the jail authorities.

Interim Application is accordingly disposed of on the aforesaid terms.
