The petitioner preferred an application for parole on the ground of illness of his wife. This application was preferred on 14/03/2016. The said application was rejected on 24/06/2016. Being aggrieved thereby the petitioner preferred an Appeal. Appeal was dismissed by order dated 29/11/2016. Hence, this Petition.

Learned APP has pointed out that the petitioner had 1/2
26. wp 1395.17.doc preferred Criminal Writ Petition No. 1426 of 2017 wherein the petitioner was granted temporary bail by this Court by order dated 20/04/2017. By said order the petitioner was granted temporary bail for a period of 1 month. Learned APP further states that pursuant to the said order, the petitioner has been released from jail on temporary bail on 23/04/2017 for a period of 1 month. In view of the fact that petitioner has been released on temporary bail for a period of 1 month, we are not inclined to interfere in the order of rejection for application for parole. Hence, Rule is discharged.
