Since the Petitioner has already tendered an application seeking regularisation of an unauthorised structure, the instant petition can be disposed of by issuing directions to the Planning Authority i.e. City Industrial and Development Corporation Ltd ("CIDCO") to decide the application tendered by the Petitioner, for regularisation of unauthorised structure, expeditiously, and it is accordingly directed. 2.

The Respondent - CIDCO shall take decision on the application tendered by the Petitioner, for regularisation of unauthorised structure, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from today. 1/2

The protection provided under Section 53(3) of the Maharashtra Regional and Town Planning Act, 1966, shall be available to the Petitioner until disposal of the application for the regularisation of an unauthorised structure, by the Respondent/CIDCO.
