This is an application for extension of cash bail facility granted by this Court.

Applicant was directed to be released on bail vide order dated 27th January, 2021. He was permitted to furnish provisional cash bail in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, for a period of eight weeks, in lieu of surety.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that on account of current situation of pandemic, the sureties could not

rpa 2/2 11ia 1175 2021.doc be arranged. Due to lock-down, the relatives of the applicant were unable to travel to Mumbai for completing procedure of sureties. He has now arranged the sureties and it would take some time to complete the process of furnishing sureties. It is, therefore, prayed that provisional cash bail granted by this Court may be extended by a period of 12 weeks.

Considering the submissions, the cash bail facility granted by this Court vide order dated 27th January, 2021, passed in Bail Application No.1729 of 2020, is extended by a period of 12 weeks, to enable the applicant to furnish sureties. Interim Application No.1175 of 2021, stands disposed of accordingly.
