DATED : 13th SEPTEMBER, 2023 P.C:- The praceipe is moved informing the Court that the appellant has passed away during the pendency of the appeal, and an application was filed for bringing the legal heirs on record, which was granted on 9/03/2021. The appellant was directed to amend cause title of the Criminal Appeal by substituting the name of the appellant by his legal heirs. The learned counsel for the appellant concede to the fact that there is non compliance of the order for almost 2 years, but he seeks some time to comply with the order. By way of indulgence, time of one week is granted to carry out the amendment. It is made clear that, if the amendment is not carried out within the said period, the appeal shall stand dismissed without reference to the Court.
