Present Petition is received through jail.

Admittedly, Petitioner is behind bars since 17th July, 2018 in C. R. No. 208 of 2017 registered with Ganeshpuri Police Station, Bhiwandi, District Thane. It is the grievance of the Petitioner that, he is behind bars for last more than four years and his trial has not yet commenced. Learned APP on instructions submitted that, in the said case till date charge has not been framed.

In view thereof, we request learned Special Judge (MCOCA) Thane, seized of Sessions Case No.8 of 2018 to make an endeavour to conclude the said case within a period of 18 months from the date of receipt of present Order.

Petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
