Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The learned counsel for the applicant on instruction seeks leave to withdraw the application.

The learned counsel further submits that the applicant is in custody since 4th July, 2021 and the trial has yet not commenced. 4.

Having regard to the nature of the accusation and the age of the victim, it may be expedient that the trial shall commence and conclude as expeditiously as possible.

The learned Judge seized with Special Case No. 1006 of 2021 is requested to make an endeavour to commence and conclude the trial as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of nine months from the date of communication of this order. Application disposed.
