Learned counsel for the NCB states that the Office of the NCB has verified the death certificate of Madathil Jacob i.e. the respondent No.1 in Criminal Application No. 502 of 2012. She submits that the prayer for cancellation of bail of respondent No.2Louis Carlos Aguilar has been disposed of by a reasoned order, SQ Pathan 1/2

appln.502.12.1.doc thereby dismissing the prayer of the NCB for cancellation of his bail. Hence, the application was pending only qua the respondent No.1. In view of the above, as the respondent No. 1-Madathil Jacob has expired, Criminal Application No. 502 of 2012 will not survive. The same is accordingly disposed of. In view of the above order, Criminal Application No. 588 of 2012 also does not. The same stands disposed of accordingly. REVATI MOHITE DERE, J.
