This appeal is filed against the acquittal of respondent No.1 in STC No.1486 of 2001 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Solapur, on 28 November 2007.

Mr Ajay Raje Nimbalkar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 informs the Court that respondent No.1-Sanjay Ambadas Waikar has expired on 27 July 2020. 3.

The learned counsel for the contesting parties as such jointly state that since respondent No.1 has expired, nothing survives in this Criminal Appeal.
