The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the last increment was on 01.05.2017. The learned Counsel submits that the benefit of increment ought to have been given to the petitioner.

The issue is no longer res-integra in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.2471/2023 (The Director (Admn.and HR KPTCL & Ors. V/s. C.P. Mundinamani & Ors.) dated April 11, 2023.

In light of that, the respondents shall verify the record of the petitioner and if the last increment was on 01.05.2017 then it shall give the benefit of the judgment of the Supreme Court in the case of Director (Admn.and HR KPTCL (supra) to the petitioner.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
