ORDER:- As the regular Division Bench presided over by our brother Justice Shri V. M. Kanade has passed an order expressing his inability to take up these petitions, being an alternate Bench, all these matters 2/4

ssm 3 which pertain to Maratha reservation are listed before us, as they were mentioned in the last week along with other connected matters. The submission is made that there are other connected lead matters including, Writ Petition No. 3151 of 2014, wherein, a Division Bench of this Court on 7 April 2015 has passed the reasoned interim order. Those matters are not listed today before this Bench. At the request of the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners, as important issues involved about the State reservation policy and as there is an urgency to hear the matters in the interest of all and also in view of the directions already issued by the Hon'ble the Supreme Court, by order dated 19 September 2016, SLP No. 16809/16 in PIL No. 140 of 2014 (Vinod Narayan Patil Vs. State of Maharashtra & Anr.), we inclined to expedite the matters and fix for hearing.

Considering the submissions so made by the respective learned counsel, including Mr. Ravi Kadam, the learned Senior Counsel on behalf of the State Government along with Mr. Vagyani, 3/4

ssm 4 the learned Government Pleader, we are fixing all these matters on 13 October 2016, so that the completion of pleadings by all the parties can be taken care of, to proceed with the final hearing. The parties are, therefore, directed to complete the pleadings by the next date of hearing, if not already filed.

Taking overall view of the matter and for an expeditious hearing, it is desirable that the parties to file proposition of law so that on the crystallized issues respective arguments/submissions would be heard. The parties to place on record the list of all the relevant dates and synopsis by the next date.

The parties to give list of all other matters, which are not listed on board today. (PIL 126/09, 105/15, with CAI 72/15, 79/16, 78/16 in PIL 105/15 a/w O.S. WP No. 3151 of 2014.) Keep all the matters, along with all the civil applications /intervention applications. Stand over to 13 October 2016 for directions, HOB, subject to office verification. (G.S. KULKARNI, J.)
