Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

As regards the correction of revenue record and concerned mutation entry is concerned, the learned counsel for the Respondent- State pointed out that the appeal filed against the mutation entry was rejected by the Additional Collector. Thereafter no revision was filed and thereafter directly this writ petition under Article 226 is filed. Learned counsel the State submits that since the Petitioners have remedy of revision the same should be exhausted and directly writ petition cannot be filed. The learned counsel for the

skn 2 65-WP-7921.2022.doc Petitioners submits that the Petitioners have filed revision/ application in August 2016 itself before the Commissioner, however, the same has not been decided.

Considering the fact that the revision/ application is pending since the year 2016 i.e. for last six years, Respondent No.1Commissioner, subject to earlier time bound commitments and pressing public duties, would take a decision upon the pending revision/ application filed by the Petitioners within a period of eight weeks.

Writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
