Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, we dispose of this petition by passing following order.

ORDER

(i) The petitioner is at liberty to make representation to the learned Police Commissioner, Thane for police protection. (ii) If such representation is made within a period of two weeks from today, the Commissioner of Police, Thane shall look into the Uday S. Jagtap

1418-15-wp=.doc petitioner's grievance and take appropriate decision independently on its own merits, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and intimate the decision to the petitioner.
