The learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the Corporation has taken penal action against the petitioner for nonpayment of property taxes. However, the petitioner is nowhere concerned with the payment of property taxes to the Corporation in respect of subject property. Learned counsel, on instructions, submits that company by name Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. was to be assessed for payment of property taxes. A cheque towards the payment of property taxes was received from the petitioner company on behalf of Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. and that is why the Corporation proceeded against the petitioner company. He further submits that the impugned notice issued against

skn 2/2 3985.15-wp.sxw the petitioner stands withdrawn. The Corporation would take appropriate steps against the company- Thyrocare Technologies Ltd. for recovery of the property taxes.

In view of the above, we direct that the communication made to the bank (Exh.A) attaching bank account of the petitioner shall not be operative from today itself. On the statement made, petition is disposed of.
