The challenge herein is to the order granting interim maintenance in favour of the daughter-in-law and to her minor children. The claim of the Respondents was that the property belonged to the joint family and, therefore, her parents-in-law are bound to provide her maintenance. These issues can very well be decided on merits of the matter. The total amount of interim maintenance is Rs.8,000/- only. This Court is, therefore, not even

The trial court is, however, directed to decide the application on its own merits within a timeframe of eight months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The Applicants shall clear all the arrears within a period of four weeks. 3.

Application stands disposed of.
