The learned counsel for the respondents, at the outset, submitted that interim order dated 21st February, 2019 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 2087 of 2019 is complied with by the respondents. This fact is not disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioners.

In the light of above, the grievance raised in the Rekha Patil 1/2

916-CPST-9023-2019.doc contempt petition stands resolved. The petition is accordingly disposed of.

At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the order in respect of which breach is alleged was passed on 21st February, 2019, but the same was complied with on 11th September, 2019; and as a result during the period from 21st February, 2019 to 11th September, 2019, one of the petitioners could not join the duty. The petitioners submit that this period should be presumed to have been spent on duty. We do not wish to express any opinion on this issue and the petitioners may agitate the same before the appropriate forum. Subject to above, the petition is disposed of. [ N. J.
