The Applicant is charge-sheeted in C.R. No. 1039 of 2020 registered with Vijapur Naka Police Station, Solapur City for offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC and he seeks his release on bail, being arrested on 17/11/2020, the day on which the alleged incident took place. 2.

The Complainant is the father-in-law of the present Applicant and he reported that his daughter was married to the

2/3 29 BA-1848.21.odt Applicant in the year 2017, but since she was subjected to harassment at the instance of the Applicant, she was residing with the informant. On the date of the incident, it is alleged that the Applicant visited his house with a white coloured plastic can containing five liters of petrol and demanded as to why his wife was not reached to him, as promised. He created a ruckus in the house and when his son intervened, he throttled him. The informant came to the rescue of his son. This irked the Applicant and he rushed towards him and assaulted and demanded that he wanted divorce from his daughter. It is alleged that at this very juncture, he sprinkled the petrol on his two daughters and a son, who were present at the spot, but the informant and his family were successful in stalling his attack since the neighbours also gathered there, when they sought help. It is in the matter of these allegations, the C.R. is registered. 3.

On completion of investigation, the charge-sheet is filed and the Applicant is incarcerated since 17/11/2020. He is entitled to be released on bail subject to the stipulation that in no case, he shall establish any contact with the informant or his family including his wife. Hence the following order: : ORDER :

(a) The Applicant - Yogesh Mahadev Ghogare, shall be released on bail in C.R. No.1039 of 2020

3/3 29 BA-1848.21.odt registered with Vijapur Naka Police Station, Solapur City, on executing P.R. bond to the extent of Rs.25,000/- and furnishing one or two sureties of the like amount.

(b) The Applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with facts of case and shall not tamper with prosecution evidence.

(c) The Applicant shall report to the Vijapur Naka Police Station, Solapur City, on first Monday of every month.
