This is an application for renewal of passport filed by the original accused.

Heard the learned Advocate for the applicant/accused as well as the learned Advocate appearing for the passport officer and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. The learned Advocate appearing for the passport officer submitted that on earlier occasions also passport has been renewed in terms of orders dated 2nd May 2016 and 6th February 2014 passed by this Court and in terms of those orders, the passport officer has no objection to consider the request for renewal of passport.
