Heard learned counsel for the Applicant.

By this Application, the Applicant seeks transit anticipatory bail for a period of four weeks to enable the Applicant to approach the appropriate Court in connection with Case No. CS / 73186 / 2017 which is pending before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 15th Court, Calcutta. Learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the case in which the Applicant has been summoned is a case under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.

Without going into the merits, the Application is allowed

ABA 615-18.doc and the Applicant is granted transit Anticipatory Bail for a period of four weeks from today to enable the Applicant to approach the appropriate Court and seek appropriate reliefs on the following terms & conditions :-

O R D E R

(i) In the event of the Applicant's arrest, the Applicant be enlarged on transit bail, for a period of four weeks from today, on executing P. R. Bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount;

(ii) During this period, the Applicant shall approach the appropriate Court and seek necessary orders.

The Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed of.

It is made clear, that this Application has not been considered on merits.
