According to the petitioners, the order impugned is passed by the Commissioner in exercise of powers under Section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 against which the petitioners have remedy of filing second revision application. 2.

Therefore, without adjudicating on the issues raised by the petitioners, the petitioners are permitted to file revision before the State Government.

According to the petitioners, there is delay of 42 years. It shall be open for the petitioners to raise that ground before the State Government. If such ground is raised, the State Government shall adjudicate on the said ground.

With this clarification, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
