The grievance of the petitioners is that though their matter for issuance of caste validity certificate is pending before the second respondent Committee since 22.8.2005, the said Committee has not taken decision on the said matter as yet. 3.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that the appropriate decision shall be taken by the Committee within three months from the date of appearance of the petitioners before the said Committee.

In view of the aforesaid stand being taken by the respondent

903-wp-4170.2017.sxw State, we dispose of this petition by directing the petitioners to appear before the Committee on 25.4.2017 at 11.00 a.m. The Committee shall thereafter take appropriate decision on the petitioner's caste validity claim as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months from the said date. 5.

Needless to say that the petitioners shall cooperate with the Committee for deciding the matter within the aforesaid time. 6.
