The grievance of the petitioner is that his application for validation of caste claim is pending before respondent no.2 Caste Scrutiny Committee since the year 2002 and the same has not been decided as yet. Learned AGP for the State submits that the petitioner's matter will be considered and the appropriate decision on his prayer for validation of his caste claim shall be taken as expeditiously as possible. 3.

Having regard to the aforesaid position, we direct

2 903-wp-4148.2014.sxw respondent no. 2 to consider petitioner's claim for caste and appropriate decision on merits may be taken on the same as expeditiously as possible and in any case not latter than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.

The issue about the approval of the petitioner's appointment is left open.

Petition is disposed of accordingly.
