Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that despite several reports from different authorities, recommending and giving favourable reports in favour of the petitioner, seeking long term loan facility under the Special Component Scheme (Vishesh Ghatak Yojana), the Hon'ble Minister of Social Justice, has not passed any orders. 1/3

Learned A.G.P, on instructions, states that the said representation seeking grant and disbursal of the benefit of long term loan facility to the petitioner will be decided by the Hon'ble Minister within eight weeks.

Perused the papers. It appears that the proposal given by the petitioner is pending since January 2016. According to the petitioner, he is entitled for grant of long term loan facility and that all the authorities i.e. the Assistant Commissioner, Social Justice, Nashik; Deputy Director, Social Justice, Nashik and other authorities including the Finance Department have recommended grant of benefit of the Scheme to the petitioner. It appears that, however, the Hon'ble Minister has not taken decision on the said revised project report dated 30th January 2016. Considering the aforesaid and the pendency of the representation, we request the Hon'ble Minister of Social Justice to decide the applicant's representation, as expeditiously as possible and in any event, within 10 days from the date of receipt of this order. 2/3

Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms. Matter to be listed for recording compliance on 6th May 2022. Learned A.G.P to forthwith communicate this order to the Hon'ble Minister, so as to enable him to comply with the above order. All concerned to act on the authenticated copy of this order. MADHAV J.
