Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail in Crime No.270 of 2018 registered with Chitalsar Police Station, Thane for the ofences punishable under Sections 420, 465, 467, 471, 499 and 500 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.

It is alleged that the applicant, who was working with M/s. Hinduja Leyland Finance Company, in Shivgan 1/3

its Sales Department, had submitted a false report and abated co-accused to avail vehicle loans.

Two co-accused were arrested and released on bail. Pending investigation, third co-accused Deepak Shantaram Dangat had expired.

The learned APP has placed on record a report received from the Investigating Ofcer. It is taken on record and marked 'X-1' for Identifiction. It is submitted that since investigation is over, custodial interrogation of the applicant is not required. In view of the report, application is allowed and hence, the following order:

ORDER

(I) In the event of arrest of the applicant in Crime No. 270 of 2018 registered with Chitalsar Police Station, Thane, he shall be released on executing PR bond for the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one or more sureties in like sum.

(ii) The applicant shall not tamper with the evidence or attempt to infuence or contact the complainant, witnesses or any person concerned with the case (iii) It is made clear that observations made hereinabove be construed as expression of opinion only for the purpose of granting bail and the same shall not in any way infuence the trial in other proceedings.

Application is allowed and disposed of.
