The learned AGP referred to the affidavit-in-reply dated 3/9/2018 filed by Shri Ashok Anandrao Kadam, Police Inspector, Swargate Police Station, Pune. Paras 3, 4 and 5 of the said affidavit-in-reply read as under:- "3.

I hereby submit that, Swargate Police Station did not give permission to any kind of Mandals for allowing loud speakers for celebration of Aannabhau Sathe Jayanti. (01/08/2018) Also, we follow all guidelines and orders of the Hon'ble Supreme Court with regards to sound pollution.

Urgent cognizance of and subsequent action on calls, message and emails sent to us by petitioner, is taken by us and also it is conveyed back to the petitioner. The petitioner is presenting only one side and doing one-way communication to the Hon'ble Court and is not presenting the facts about our replies and action taken on her complaints. She is avoiding informing the Hon'ble Court about the communication done by us to her.

We welcome the suggestions made by petitioner to prevent sound pollution during the upcoming festival season and we will also abide by the Hon'ble High Court's guidelines and orders for the same."

The learned AGP submits that in future too, police will take necessary steps and action against the violator. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner tenders rejoinder, which is taken on record. 3.
