IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION CRIMINAL WRIT PETITION NO.1424 OF 2014 The State of Maharashtra ....

Petitioner

Versus

Nana Biru Badare ....

Respondent Mr. A.S. Shitole, A.P.P., for the Petitioner-State. Mr. Kedar Lad for the Respondent.

CORAM : DR. SHALINI PHANSALKAR-JOSHI, J.

DATE : 26 TH FEBRUARY 2016.

P.C. :

1.

This Writ Petition is preferred by the State challenging the interim order passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Kolhapur, in Sessions Case No.121 of 2008.

2.

Now it is submitted by learned A.P.P. and learned counsel for the Respondent also, that, the said Sessions Case is already disposed of by the Judgment dated 17th February 2015, acquitting the Respondents of the offences charged against them. Even the application preferred by the State, being Criminal Application No.59 of 2015, seeking leave to appeal against the Judgment of acquittal is also rejected. 3.

In view of the above, the Writ Petition has become infructuous and hence stands dismissed.
