Mrs. Pai, learned APP on instructions states that the detention order of the detenu in this petition under the COFEPOSA Act, 1974 is revoked on the recommendation of the Advisory Board. In support of her statement, she tendered copy of the order dated 9th May 2017 made by the Under Secretary, Home Department, Government of Maharashtra. The same is taken on record. 2.

In the light of above, the learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner fairly states that grievance of the Petitioner as raised in the petition no more survives and that the petition is rendered infructuous. In the circumstances, petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged.
