Petitioner is present with his advocate and respondent No.2 is present with his advocate.

They are jointly requesting for quashing of the charge-sheet and FIR under section 294, 506 of IPC and section 7(1)(d) of the Protection of Civil Right Act.

Consent Terms are entered into between the parties and the Consent Terms are produced today before the Court. 4.

Learned APP is opposing any intervention by this Court and he submits that offence is against the society.

The petitioner/accused has already superannuated and

In view of this observation, we find that no fruitful purpose would be served by this litigation. Accordingly, we make Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) and consequential RCC No.208/2007 and FIR No.II-169/2005 dated 13/12/2005 are quashed and set aside. 7.

The petition is disposed of.
