P. C. :- Having heard the learned counsels for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing the Respondent No.3 - Special District Social Welfare Officer, Sangli, District Sangli to decide the proposal dated 27th August, 2011 of Head Master, Dalitmitra, Ganpatrao Krishnarao Olekar Primary Ashram School, Ghorpadi, pertaining to the grant of higher pay scale as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2.

It is made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the

P.H.Jayani 32 WP2531.17.doc matter and the petitioner's claim and petitioner's representation shall be decided independently and in accordance with the law and after hearing the petitioner and other concerned officer and this order should not be construed as an expression of opinion on merits. 3.

The petitioner shall remain present before the Respondent No.3 - Special District Social Welfare Officer, District Sangli on 09th April, 2018 alongwith the copy of said representation and copy of this order in order to enable the Respondent No.3 to comply with this order. Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly.
