DATE : 13.01.2015 P.C.:- The learned counsel for the Petitioner, states that the petition is filed for a direction to the Respondent-Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the Petitioner at the earliest. The Petitioner also seeks a direction to the Respondent-Zilla Parishad to pay the regular salary of the Petitioner till his caste claim is decided.

Smt. Bhende, the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the Scrutiny Committee, states that the caste claim of the Petitioner is pending before the Nandurbar Committee and the same would be decided as early as possible.

dgm 2 45-wp-4642-14.sxw In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the caste claim of the Petitioner within a period of three months from the date of appearance of the Petitioner before the Scrutiny Committee. The Petitioner is directed to appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 20.01.2015. The RespondentZilla Parishad is directed to pay the arrears of difference of salary to the Petitioner within a period of one month and to pay the regular salary of the Petitioner till his caste claim is decided, as the Petitioner was not at fault in not producing the caste validity certificate. Order accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
