The petitioner no.1-husband and respondent no.2-wife are present with their respective advocates. Parties jointly request for quashing of FIR No.84/2016 which was registered under Section 498 (A) of the Indian Penal Code.

Respondent no.2 in Court has reiterated the request and has handed over the affidavit to that effect.

Parties point out that in Petition A-292/2017 in Family Court at Bandra, the consent terms were arrived at on 04/12/2018. 4.

In this situation, accepting the joint request, we make rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (c).
