The grievance of the Petitioner is that his matter before the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nandurbar (Respondent No. 2) is pending since 20th February, 2014. He submits that in absence of the Caste Validity Certificate, Respondent No. 4 is not permitting the Petitioner to fill up the form and appear in the examination of Third Year of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.

Without commenting upon the merits of the matter, we dispose of this Petition by directing Respondent No. 2/Committee Vishal Parekar 1/2

prod-18-wp-4171-2017.doc to decide the Petitioner's application as expeditiously as possible but not later than three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The Respondent No. 4 - Education Society is directed to accept the Petitioner's form and allow the Petitioner to appear in the examination if he is otherwise eligible to appear in the said examination and shall not debar the Petitioner only on the ground that he is not having the Caste Validity Certificate. 5.

However, it is made clear that the Petitioner shall not be entitled to claim any equity on the basis of this order and his entitlement would be subject to outcome of the Petition as may be taken by the Caste Scrutiny Committee.

With the aforesaid, the Petition is disposed of. 7.

The parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.
