Mr. Ramamurthy, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the SLP filed by the respondents against the order of this Court, of which contempt is alleged, is also dismissed and subsequently, decision is taken to close the inquiry. However, the retiral benefits have not been paid, including the promotion, as per the order of this Court.

The learned advocate for the respondents, on instructions, submits that the inquiry has been closed and the decision has been taken to open the sealed cover. He further submits that minimum four months would be required for implementing the order of this Court. The order of this Court is passed on 22nd December, 2021. This Court had directed the respondents to issue the orders qua the promotion within one month and the retiral benefits within three months. More than a year has been lapsed.

Considering the difficulty expressed by the learned advocate for the respondents, we direct the respondents to implement the order of this Court, of which contempt is alleged, within three months from today. In case the same is not implemented, then the respondents will have to face the consequences of contempt. 4.
With the aforesaid directions, Contempt Petition is disposed of.
