It is an admitted fact on record that, as of today the charges under the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crimes Act (MCOCA) levelled against Petitioner, has been dropped by the National Investigating Agency (N.I.A.) on 27th December, 2017 and he has been released on bail by the Trial Court on 11th October, 2017.

In view of the above, the prayer in the Petition is only on the academic discussion and may be considered in an appropriate case, if called upon to decide.
