In this Petition, Petitioner Yakub has assailed very initiation of proceedings and a notice under Section 111 of Code of Criminal Procedure, on 19 January 2017 securing his presence on 20 January 2017. This Court has not issued any formal notice and has not passed any effective order in the matter.

However, in any case considering the lapse of period of about one year and eleven months from issuance of notice under Section 111 of Code of Criminal Procedure, we find that incident which gave rise to course has become stale and may have lost live link.
