The petitioner- a complainant in caste validation case before the Caste Verification Committee, Pune has challenged the order dated 27th February 2015. It is submitted that the Committee is not conducting the inquiry properly. Petitioner's voluminous record is not being looked into by the Committee. The petitioner is denied opportunity to crossexamine other side. Reliance is placed on the judgment of this Court dated 2nd September 2009 passed in W.P.No.3391/2009 (Gulabsing Harsingh @ Suratsing Sonawane v. The State of Maharashtra).

We have perused the record placed before us; the judgment cited supra; and the impugned order passed by the Committee. The Committee is yet to finally decide the issue as to whether the caste claim is to be validated or not. At this stage, it would premature to observe on the merits of the matter. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the final order to be passed by the Committee, the petitioner would have appropriate remedy. The Committee to decide the caste verification claim in accordance with law and on the basis of record placed before it. We are not expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter. 3.

Petition is dismissed.
