The Advocate for the respondent has filed on record a true copy of the Death Certificate of the appellant along with the praecipe dated 27th January 2016. A copy of the Death Certificate produced by the respondent shows that the appellant died on 30th October 2015. In terms of the order of this Court dated 8th August 2016, the Registrar (Judicial-II) has verified the correctness of the said certificate from the official website of the Mumbai Municipal Corporation.

In view of the death of the appellant on 30th October 2015, Family Court Appeal No.62 of 2010 stands abated. There will be no order as to costs. Civil application does not survive and the same is disposed of.
